Merapi: post-eruption materials and the victims


Post-eruption of Mount Merapi eruption affected communities should immediately rise from adversity and fight for the welfare of living so that they can immediately move the economy that has long been stalled.
Disaster after another whack our beloved nation, ranging from annual floods that often hit several regions in Indonesia until the political upheaval that would not go over.
Did not escape disaster befall the city of students, Yogyakarta with the eruption of Mount Merapi, a powerful set up a national disaster. Kraton Ngayogyakarta yang sering disebut sebagai Kasultanan Ngayogyakarta berdiri pada tahun 1755. Bangunan Kraton ini dipagari beteng yang luas jaraknya sekitar 5 Km. Pada empat titik pojok bangunan beteng ada bangunan kecil dan disebut sebagai pojok beteng. Pintu masuk ke beteng Kraton melalui apa yang disebut sebagai plengkung. Di dalam bangunan beteng selain ada bangunan Kraton, tempat tinggal Raja, disekitarnya ada sejumlah kampung sebagai tempat bermukim penduduk, yang pada jaman dulu merupakan abdi dalem Kraton

Ancient Volcano Nglanggeran


Mount Nglanggeran located in the village Nglanggeran, District Patuk Gunungkidul district. Located in the northern region Baturagung Gunungkidul District with a height of between 200-700 masl with average air temperature of 23 C - 27 C, the distance of 20 km from the city Wonosari and 25 km from the city of Yogyakarta. Ancient Mataram

,Kerajaan Mataram Kuno (abad ke-8) adalah kerajaan Hindu di Jawa (Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur). Berdasarkan catatan yang terdapat pada prasassti yang ditemukan, Kerajaan Mataram Kuno bermula sejak pemerintahan Raja Sanjaya yang bergelar Rakai Mataram Sang Ratu Sanjaya. Ia memerintah Kerajaan Mataram Kuno hingga 732M.

Merapi "d'Angry of Nature"

A volcano is a mountain topped with vents, holes, and craters. When the volcano erupts, lava, ash, cinders, dust, and hot gas can pour out the top. Magma (when it's deep in the ground) or lava (when it reaches the earth's surface) is very hot, liquid rock. When the lava cools down, it turns into hard rock. Ash is a gray powder that results from material being burned in the volcano.

Merapi Eruption 2010


In late October 2010 the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation, Geological Agency (CVGHM), (Indonesian language—Pusat Vulkanologi & Mitigasi Bencana Geologi, Badan Geologi-PVMBG), reported that a pattern of increasing seismicity from Merapi had begun to emerge in early September.
